The flat is really good for size, with massive bedrooms and a small one that has an attached study, which makes up for its size. The kitchen is bomb, and the landlord is responsive and helpful with issues. However, the flat is freezing in winter, and the lack of soundproofing means you can hear everything from room to room. Additionally, the downstairs bathroom is gross and mouldy, and while there are heaters in every room, they don't work, making it an expensive place to live.

The flat is very cold, often at least 10 degrees colder inside even on hot days, and the dampness is a constant issue, especially in the bottom rooms that need constant ventilation. The laundry/bathroom has serious mould problems due to lack of ventilation, and the living space lacks sunlight, making it feel miserable. While the kitchen is new and comes with plenty of appliances, the overall condition of the flat is poor, with broken furniture and non-functional heating. The landlord is sometimes responsive but getting help in emergencies is nearly impossible, and it feels like the property owners are taking advantage of students by neglecting necessary improvements. If you're looking for a warm, functional flat that won't make you sick, this is not it.
The living room is generally warm, but it gets cold everywhere else in the house. The landlord is very attentive to issues, which is great. The best thing about the flat is that the kitchen is very spacious, while the worst thing is the driveway.
The house has some mould issues in the bathroom due to poor ventilation and condensation from the dryer venting inside, making it relatively cold and hard to heat, especially since it doesn't get much sun. However, the kitchen is great, and the rooms are decent sizes, with one having a separate study and good-sized desks. On the plus side, the landlord is quick to respond to issues and is pleasant to deal with, so I'm pretty satisfied overall.
The house has a great location with mean views and is relatively warm, making the living area the best part. The landlord is a bit of a character but decent overall. However, the price is the worst aspect of the rental.
