The rent is quite expensive and doesn't even cover the internet and power bill. While I appreciate having my own personal bathroom, the property manager is not responsive, which has been frustrating.

The house comes with essential furniture like a bed, desk, heater, couch, TV, washing machine, and dryer, plus an ensuite bathroom, which adds to its coziness. However, the rent is a bit high even when split among three people, and with power and internet costs, it gets even pricier, so having a part-time job is probably necessary. The landlord is very nice and seems willing to handle any problems that arise.
I had a great experience in this two-bedroom flat with excellent landlords who were super responsive and nice—definitely the best I've dealt with in Dunedin. The flat was really good size, small enough to be cheap to heat but still spacious. The only downside was the noisy neighbours in front of the house. Overall, I highly recommend it!
The house is good, and having my own bathroom is definitely the best part. However, there's mould everywhere, which is a significant downside.
The house is super cold with no insulation, which is definitely the worst thing about it. However, the landlord is quite good at getting onto everything that is always falling to bits. On the bright side, it's a super fun party flat!
The property management is useless, and the house is very noisy due to the upstairs flats, plus there are pest problems. The landlord takes months to fix things, often after four or five reminders, and they are quite weird. The best thing about the place is the shower, but the worst part is the toilet seat and having to hear the upstairs neighbors.
I lived in a nice, warm, north-facing flat that was sunny and comfortable. However, the soundproofing wasn't great, so if your neighbors liked to play their music loud, it could be quite disruptive. On the plus side, the landlords were very helpful and quick to respond to any issues.
The house is cold, has a bad shower, and lacks good power plugs, though it does have good double glazing. The landlord is a great communicator, and the best part about living here is the location to town and the free internet. However, the worst aspect is my flatmate and the fact that there are no opening bedroom windows.
The flat itself is cool, and I enjoy living with my 13 flatmates, but the landlord has no respect for privacy. The maintenance guys frequently come around for "random fire inspections," which feel more like excuses for inspections. Overall, it's a great place to live, but the nosey property managers really detract from the experience.
