The location of the flat is fantastic, as it's really close to the University and Polytech with a great view overlooking the city. However, it's very cold and damp, and the kitchen is quite small, plus there's no off-street parking. The landlord is always willing to sort out issues, but he did promise some renovations that were never completed.

The house has some issues, particularly with mould that grows very easily in the rooms, which is definitely a downside. On the plus side, the shower pressure is very good, and while it can get very cold during winter, the door for the second bedroom on the left doesn’t close properly during humid weather. However, it doesn't really matter since the property has exchanged hands.
The house has good features like a great lounge layout, nice views, and excellent sun exposure, which is definitely the best thing about it. However, the shower is really loud, and the lack of soundproof walls can be a downside. On the plus side, the landlord is responsive and seems reliable.
The house is cold, damp, and leaky, with mold on the walls and ceilings, making it far from liveable. While the landlords are a lovely couple, they are slow to address issues and lack empathy for the flat's inadequacies. The fridge and dryer need replacing, but at least the shower pressure is good. Overall, you pay for what you get.
The house has two sunny and warm rooms, but the other two are quite cold, even during the day. The bathroom has mould and peeling paint, though the landlord assures us it's fine. On the plus side, the landlord is reasonable; he replaced my window earlier this year and mentioned plans to repaint and relay the carpet soon. The best part of the flat is definitely the location, but the coldness of some rooms is a downside.
I found the flat to be very cold and damp, with lots of condensation and mould, especially in winter. The kitchen is quite small for four people, and the lack of a rangehood made cooking steamy. Parking is tricky since there's only on-street parking on a hill. While the landlord is good to deal with and fixed our problems, they didn't fully grasp how cold and damp the flat was and often blamed us for the moisture. The best part was the shower pressure, but overall, the flat isn't worth the rent price.
The deck is amazing in summer, and the location is definitely the best thing about this flat. The landlord is great, but the house can be quite cold at times.
The flat has a small lounge and kitchen area, and while the location is great, the kitchen/living space could be better. I’ve found the water pressure in the shower to be poor, and it can be colder inside than outside. The hill to walk up to the flat is a pain, and parking can be tricky during the day. However, the landlord is really helpful and addresses any issues immediately, which is a big plus.
The house is very cold and poorly insulated, with a large bedroom window seat that lets in a lot of air. The kitchen is too small for four people, and mold tends to appear easily. While the landlord is good and quick to fix issues, they expect a lot from us in terms of cleanup, some of which feels unrealistic. The best thing about the place is the shower water pressure, but the worst thing is definitely the cold.
I've lived in this cosy little flat for 3 years and obviously love it, despite the awkward lounge layout. It heats easily and cheaply with a heat pump, but the rooms can be pretty cold in winter. The landlord is very helpful and quick to contact, always making constant improvements to the flat. The location is great once you get used to the hill, and being fully double glazed is a bonus.
The flat is not well maintained, cold, and mouldy, which makes living here uncomfortable. While the landlord is friendly, he is lazy and doesn't do much to improve the situation, often overestimating the flat's condition. The best thing about this place is its location, but the worst aspects are that it is cold and small.
The house is poorly insulated, with gaps under the front door and some windows that aren't sealed properly, causing the curtains to move in the wind even when everything is shut. There's mould, a small kitchen, and a leaking skylight in the small bedroom, but on the upside, we have new whiteware, a microwave, and a bathroom heater since the old ones broke. The lounge is nice and warms up quickly with the heat pump, and I enjoyed living with the people in the flat, though it was frustrating how cold it got and that the old washing machine didn’t actually wash clothes. The landlord replies quickly but is slow to fix things; it took several weeks and a fire on our street for them to sort out the smoke alarms.
The house has missing floorboards, a leak in the living room, and doors that don’t fully reach the ground, letting in air and water, making it hard to warm up. The landlord lies to your face and pretends to care. The best thing about this place is the location, but everything else is the worst.
The house is fairly cold and pretty run down, with floorboards that aren't really intact, and the bathroom hot water tap doesn't work. However, the landlord is great, and the best thing about the place is its location, even though the worst thing is definitely the look.
Overall, it's a pretty good flat with thick curtains and a nice, tidy environment. The landlord is great and obviously cares about his property. However, the thin walls make it not soundproof, which can be a downside.
The house comes with a big TV, which is great, and the location is good. However, some rooms are very cold and damp, and there are draughts. On the plus side, the landlord is very relaxed and nice.
The house is quite cold, with air leaks under the doors and a slight mould problem in the shower. The best thing about it is its proximity to the university and the roof access, but the coldness and the overall look of the place are definitely the worst aspects.
The house is cold and small, which is definitely its worst feature. However, the location is the best thing about it. On the plus side, the landlord is very cool.
The house was warm but very damp, and my clothes ended up going mouldy. The landlord is responsive to major issues, but he doesn't appreciate when parents come to inspect, as they noticed things he might have overlooked. On the plus side, it's close to Uni and Polytech, but the lounge and kitchen face east, so they don't get much sun.
