The house is fairly cold, and the property manager took forever to fix things like the leaky roof. I found the landlord really rude to deal with, and the other flatmates don’t like him either. The best part of living here is definitely the people, but overall, it’s a bit of a shithole.

The lounge gets good afternoon sun when it's sunny, but the house has a decent amount of mould, including mouldy curtains. The kitchen and bathroom were nicely updated in 2014, but my bedroom, which is at the front and not double glazed, has been constantly damp and mouldy this year. I've had to run a dehumidifier all the time, buy new curtains, and clean surfaces, windows, and walls to manage the mould. While the landlord is responsive, they don't seem very concerned about fixing these issues.
The flat is close to uni and hosts the annual Agnew St Keg party, which is great, but you can hear everything. Unfortunately, the landlord lies a lot about fixing things and takes ages to help with issues. He also shows up nearly every week for some reason. Overall, the best part is the location and the keg party, while the worst is definitely the landlord.
The house has a small old kitchen, but overall, I found the price to be the best aspect of my stay. The landlord was quick and reasonable, which made the rental experience smoother.
The flat is decent but can be cold, and the lack of heat is definitely a downside. The landlord is helpful, though responses can be slow when assistance is needed. The best part is the location, as it's close to the university.
