The house is pretty cold, and I never turned on the heat pump. The kitchen is small, which can be a pain if people don’t do their dishes. On the bright side, the rent is only $97 per week, and the landlord is a real gem—he's super responsive via email, so don’t let his enthusiasm and eclectic manner put you off.

The house is a decent enough place with a lovely backyard for summer, and the lounge stays warm if heated. Living on Hyde has its perks, but the lack of soundproofing was an issue—I could hear my flatmates' porn from across the flat. The landlord is fairly responsive and quick to fix things, though the repair costs seem a bit exaggerated. Overall, the best part is the location, while the worst is that it's pretty small and kind of cold.
I found the flat to be good, reasonably warm in the lounge even without using the heat pump, with big rooms and a decent-sized backyard. The landlord is pretty onto it, usually responding within a day and fixing things relatively quickly. The best things are the location, backyard, and open plan living, but the small lounge and thin walls are drawbacks.
The house has an outside toilet, which I find ideal, and it gets all afternoon sun in the living room and kitchen, making it a great space. We deal with the landlord and his son, which has been manageable. The best part is definitely the sun all afternoon, but the worst is the starters during the study period.
The house is cheap but very old, and we just got insulation put in this year thanks to Right House—enjoy that, hahah. The landlord doesn't always reply to texts, but if he picks up when you call, he will get things sorted immediately. The best thing about the place is the location, while the worst is definitely its age.
The house is super warm, which is definitely the best thing about it, but the small kitchen is a downside. The landlord is really organised and is always available to talk for ages or via email, which is helpful. However, I do wish it had a dishwasher.
The house is decent, but it has some draughts. The landlord is a cool guy, down to earth, and a handy person. The best part about the place is definitely the price.
The house has a sick outdoor area with a picnic table and a shed with power that feels like a stage. The landlord is on to it—good cunt. The warm lounge is definitely the best part, but the heat pump at the front door is a bit of a downside.
The house is really cheap and close to campus, which is great, but it can be noisy since it's so close to Hyde Street. The property manager is really good and responsive, which I appreciate. The best thing about living here is definitely the rent price, but the worst thing is that it's cold.
