The house is in a nice location, right opposite Arana College, so you’ll often hear 'FUCK ARANA' when people are partying. The upstairs rooms are a good size, though the downstairs ones are a bit smaller, and while the stairs are creaky, we were happy to find couches provided when we moved in. The warmth and the decent people I live with are definitely the best parts, but the landlord is reluctant to fix things and didn’t provide a vacuum cleaner, expecting us to handle tasks that should be their responsibility. On the downside, the walls are quite thin.

The building is well designed for flatting, but it's absolutely freezing and gets almost no sun, making it colder inside than outside, with some rooms feeling quite damp. The landlord hasn't caused any real issues, but seems hesitant to fix or upgrade things that require money or time. The best aspects are the shower and the location to the university.
The house has good spacious bedrooms, but it's ridiculously cold, and I've experienced really high unexplainable power bills. There are also spiders, the floor is caving in, and the hot water is burning hot. While the landlord is really nice and responsive, the new real estate agency takes over 5 weeks to address any issues. The best part is the location to uni, but the cold is definitely the worst thing about living here.
The flat itself is pretty nice, with a great location, size, and layout, but the only problem is that it is absolutely freezing—it's so hecking cold. On the bright side, the landlord is a lovely guy.
The flat has a great modern kitchen and bathroom, but it only gets about 1.5 hours of sun, leading to condensation and difficulty drying clothes outside. The landlord is touch and go with repairs; it took months to fix our shower pressure and curtains, and they often "lose" emails about issues. While the location is fantastic, the presence of drunk idiots outside from Thursday to Saturday makes it feel unsafe, especially for parking. Overall, the worst aspects are the condensation, dampness, and noise from the halls.
The flat has a great location and is modern with a nice kitchen and bathroom, but it only gets about 1.5 hours of sun due to heavy shading, leading to condensation and difficulty drying clothes. There are also issues with drunk people outside from Thursday to Saturday, making parking feel unsafe on those nights. While the landlord is touch and go with repairs, taking months to address our shower pressure and curtains, the heat pump is poorly placed, and the oven frequently loses temperature control, which is concerning. Overall, the worst aspects are the condensation, dampness, and the noise from outside.
I lived in a really nice flat with plenty of room, and the location was ideal for the price. However, it was extremely cold, often colder inside than outside, and it gets no sun. The landlord was standard, but the best things were the location, the spaciousness, and the great shower pressure.
The house is very cold and damp, with rooms that are a good size but no insulation in the walls, making it colder inside than outside. The flat has been sold, and new management is increasing the rent by $17 per room, which isn’t worth it at all. The best thing about the flat is the shower pressure, but the worst part is that it's freezing and damp, and the hot water runs out quickly.
The house was super cold with next to no insulation, and it was rundown, mouldy, and damp. While the location was great and the shower pressure in the downstairs bathroom was decent, there were many broken things that took ages for the landlord to fix. Communication with the landlord was frustrating; they often took a long time to respond, entered the flat without proper notice, and didn't maintain the property well, even trying to charge us for general upkeep. Overall, it felt well overrated.
I had a great experience with my flatmates, but unfortunately, the landlord was a significant downside. Not only was he negligent, but he was also rude and rather unfriendly. Overall, the terrible landlord really overshadowed the positives of living in the flat.
My experience with the flat was overshadowed by the landlord, who was very impolite, unreasonable, rude, condescending, and a compulsive liar. The worst part of living here was definitely dealing with him, while I’m still trying to figure out what the best thing was.
The house is very warm, clean, and new, but it has insane condensation issues, which lead to damp and mould. Parking can be semi-dangerous on weekends and during uni hours, and there are often drunk freshers outside. The landlord responds satisfactorily, though it may take a while. The best thing about the flat is definitely its location.
The house can get a bit damp in the rooms, and we've had issues with cold and mice this year. However, our landlord is really good and very responsive whenever we have a problem. The best things are the paid rubbish bin, decent-sized lounge, and backyard, plus the great water pressure in the downstairs bathroom.
I love this flat; it's awesome in summer, but it gets freezing in winter. The lounge heats up well and is a great size for having people over, plus the backyard is nice and big with really good pears from the tree. The downstairs shower has great pressure, and the landlord is really good at fixing problems quickly. The cold is definitely the worst thing about living here.
I really liked the storage and the nice kitchen, and the flat is pretty and close to uni, plus it has a balcony. However, it can get really cold and moves in the wind, and the landlord is slow at fixing stuff. I also found the Harry Potter cupboard cool, but I was disappointed there were no pear trees.
The house is very large, but it can be pretty hard to heat both upstairs and downstairs, making it quite cold. However, there’s no mould, and the quality of the rooms is good. The landlord is super reliable and responds quickly to any issues, which I really appreciate. The best part is the abundance of space, especially the balcony and the kitchen.
The house doesn’t get much direct sun, which makes the temperature a bit uncomfortable at times. The landlord is good, but you really have to bug him to get things done. On the bright side, the location is definitely the best aspect of living here.
The flat is so cold—there must be next to no insulation—and it shakes, especially upstairs, with any movement. The landlord is fine; he just keeps to himself and takes care of the lawns. The best thing about the place is its proximity to Uni, but the worst thing is definitely the cold.
The lounge is very small, but it's quite warm compared to others. The landlord is great; he fixes many things on the day or within a week and even helped us move some of our stuff around. The best things about the flat are the large bedrooms and the nice, new kitchen.
The flat looks very structurally nice, but it has no insulation, making it almost always colder inside than outside, and you need to leave the heater on 24/7 to keep it livable. The landlord is very unwilling to do any work during the holidays; one flatmate had to pull out, and he tried to charge her extra for swapping her name with someone else's. The best thing about the flat is the shower, while the worst thing is definitely how freezing it gets.
The house has its drawbacks, like a dryer that doesn't work well and a washing line that barely gets any sun. However, the best features are the two bathrooms and a big lounge. On the downside, the rooms are cold and have disproportionate sizes.
