The flat is now a 5-bedroom instead of 6, and at $109 per room, the rent is great for the location, but the place is pretty shabby. The kitchen is very small, and there are mice in the walls, plus a lot of noise from the road and drunken students outside. The property manager is quick to resolve issues, although they did enter the flat without notice once, but they apologized profusely and even brought chocolate, which was nice. Overall, the best thing about the flat is the location, while the worst is definitely the small kitchen.

The house gets no sunlight, is quite cold, and I sometimes hear strange noises. However, it has a great layout, mean rent, and an awesome location for uni, shops, and town. The landlord is very proactive about repairs but tends to show up unannounced, which can be a bit inconvenient. Overall, the best thing about this place is definitely the location, while the worst part is how cold it gets.
I really like the central location of the flat and the rent is affordable at $108, but the layout is a bit odd with three sleepout-style rooms attached to the main flat and a covered courtyard for the washing line. The worst part has been a mouse sighting, which I didn’t appreciate. On the plus side, the landlord is nice, quick to respond, and treats tenants well if you get along with her. Overall, the cheap rent and location are definitely the best aspects.
The house looks a bit odd from the outside and can feel cramped for six people, but it's very cheap and super close to uni. The rooms are easy to heat with a heater or dehumidifier, so you stay warm. The landlord is very nice and quick to respond to messages, always asking before coming over. The biggest downsides are the lack of sunlight and the small size.
The flat is fairly warm despite limited sun and has a great location, but it does get quite a lot of street noise, so deep sleepers should stay in the front room. While there were mice living in the walls, the problem improved over the year. The landlord is quick to respond, though sometimes a bit too relaxed about flat issues. Overall, the covered back courtyard is really handy for laundry, as I don't have to worry about rain.
