The flat can get quite cold during the winter months, and we had a bit of a mice problem as well. While it gets lots of sun in the summer, overall, it's a pretty average flat that's too small for my liking. The landlord replies quickly, but it can take a while to get things fixed or replaced. I wouldn't really recommend it unless you have no other options.

The house looks very nice from the outside and is a big place divided into two flats, located almost next to the botanic garden. While it's an older building with thin walls and not great insulation, the university-managed flat means that everything gets fixed very quickly. The best part is the free electricity, but the worst is the noise; it often feels like you're right in the middle of a street party.
The house has good sun in winter, but that's where the positives end. I feel like I pay too much for what I get, and while the landlord is good enough, the best thing about this place is definitely the location. Unfortunately, the worst aspect is the overall value for money.
The house has great sun exposure out front and is conveniently close to uni, New World, and Castle, plus there aren't many neighbors, which is nice. However, the sun doesn't really reach inside, and the lack of insulation leads to condensation issues; I even found a mushroom growing just outside the shower, which is more interesting than bad. The property manager is good to deal with, but the landlord really needs to fix the place up. The best part is the sun and table outside, but I'm definitely paying way too much for it.
