The flat has a big kitchen and good insulation, which I really appreciate, but the water pressure isn't great. The landlord communicates quickly and addresses issues promptly. However, it can get freezing when the heater isn't on, though it stays warm during the hour of power.

The house has a great location, but it is VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY COLD without a heater in your room, as there's only one in the living room. Additionally, getting a double or queen bed base upstairs is highly unlikely. Our landlord has been pretty responsive, even though we haven't interacted much. Overall, the best thing about this place is the location, while the worst is definitely the dampness and coldness.
The location of the flat is great, but the experience has been marred by the landlords, who are difficult to deal with and show zero respect for tenants. The house itself has good shower pressure, but it's cold and lacks carpet, making it uncomfortable. Overall, the worst part has definitely been the landlords.
The house has some great features, like a nice carpet, an amazing shower with excellent pressure and adjustable settings, and plenty of storage space. However, the layout is odd, with the toilet off the kitchen and a long, cold walk from the upstairs bedrooms. The lounge is tiny and gets no sun, and there's a lot of road noise. The landlord is responsive in urgent situations but tends to ignore other issues, and the flat was filthy when we moved in. Overall, the best part is definitely the shower, while the worst is the layout.
The house is cold, but it has a good heat pump and is in a great location. The landlord is very quick to respond and really helpful with any problems. Overall, the best thing about this place is definitely the location, while the worst part is the cold.
The house is cold and draughty, but it has a great location, which is definitely the best thing about it. Just be careful with your bond; the landlord will try to keep as much of it as possible, but he is reasonable if you can back yourself up. Overall, it's cold and expensive, but the location makes it worthwhile.
I’ve been living in a flat managed by Selwyn since he purchased the property at the end of 2016. While the property manager is super helpful, the landlord isn't great at addressing issues, and we often feel like an extension of the hall. The flat does have a dampness and mold problem, but I do enjoy the balconies and the shower pressure. Overall, the landlord is definitely the worst part of the experience.
The front bedrooms get very cold, and the bathroom has poor ventilation with medium water pressure. The kitchen is nice, and the internet is included in the rent, though it's just average. The landlord is very nice and addresses issues without any drama, but sometimes takes a while to reply. Overall, I have a decent-sized room, but the cold room is definitely the worst part.
The house is quite cold and a bit damp, but it has a nice large kitchen, which is definitely the best feature. Unfortunately, the landlord doesn't respond to queries very quickly, and the worst part for me is that there's no sun in my room.
The upstairs flat can be very noisy with their steps and laughter, which is quite annoying. While the landlord addresses urgent matters quickly, it can take 2-6 weeks for anything to happen after a property inspection, like getting a clothesline installed. On the plus side, the spacious rooms due to the high ceiling are great, but the parking situation is absolutely terrible—living on a one-way street means the rent should definitely be lower.
The flat was cold and damp, with only two rooms getting any sun, which made for a pretty crappy student experience, though it was close to uni and the dairy next door. The landlord, who lives in Auckland, was quick to respond but visited often, so I had to be a bit delicate when talking to him. Overall, the best part was the location, but the water pressure and the outdated, disheveled state of the flat were definitely the worst aspects.
Living in this flat has been frustrating. The landlord built another building on the washing line area without notice, forcing us to rely on an expensive dryer, and the constant noise from the construction made it hard to relax. The water pressure in the shower is low, the place is damp and mouldy with little sunlight, and the unequal room sizes make it feel unfair. Communication with the landlord has been poor, and the rent is too high for the quality of the flat. The only positive is its proximity to the university.
The flat is part of a dolls house complex with a nice big carpark out back and a shared balcony on the second floor, plus a private balcony on the third. It's very sunny and warm, in a good location for people watching. The landlord may take a while to fix things, but she does respond to requests and gives advance notice for inspections. The best aspects are the warmth, location, and layout, but the noise can be a downside.
The house is very cold and damp for how much rent I pay. The landlord leaves you alone but also doesn't communicate at all. The best thing about the flat is definitely the location and the neighbors.
The flat is a bit cold during winter, but other than that, it was sweet and really close to Uni. The best part about living here is the landlord; she is very quick to respond and very helpful if anything goes wrong with the flat.
The bedroom downstairs is one of the biggest but also the coldest and hardest to heat, so keep that in mind if you choose it. There's a nice space at the back for hanging up washing, but you can hear the noisy neighbors, and I'm pretty sure there's no insulation in this old building. On the bright side, the landlord is a really nice guy and easy to talk to, and the best part is the short distance to uni, though the cold can be a downside.
The house has great entertaining areas, and the landlord is a great guy who is always there to help. He understands that we are students who like to have fun and occasionally break things, but we always fix them up. The upstairs lounge is definitely the best feature, while the small rooms out back are the worst.
The house is cold and small, which can be a downside. However, the best thing about it is definitely the location. Overall, I have mixed feelings about my experience here.
The house has a good bathroom, but the washing machine is crap. The best thing about it is the location, while the worst aspects are the small lounge and the s*** kitchen. Overall, it's a mixed experience.
I found the house to be a great place with an amazing deck, which was definitely the highlight. However, the landlord was a bit scary, and the thin walls made it hard to have any privacy.
The house was cold, but the deck was sweet, and the balcony was even sweeter. The best part was its proximity to Uni, and the lounge was mint. Unfortunately, the landlord wasn't very nice, which was definitely the worst thing about the place.
The flat had a strange layout with the bathroom next to the kitchen, and the front door was hard to shut. The kitchen lacked an extractor fan, and there was a spot under the stairs that could serve as a bedroom. Despite these issues, I found it to be a pretty good flat for the price, and it wasn't too cold. The landlord was nice, though a bit slow to address problems with some bad tenants.
I had a mixed experience with this flat. The landlord made promises he never kept and took all of the bond, which was frustrating, especially since they also charged large amounts for it. The best part was definitely my flatmates, but the costs and random visits were a downside.
The best thing about the flat was definitely the location, which was convenient for everything I needed. However, it was quite cold and smaller than I expected, which made living there a bit uncomfortable at times.
