I lived in a flat in the heart of Dunedin, which had a great location close to town. However, we were guaranteed a relatively warm flat, but the temperature was a downside. Unfortunately, the landlord was useless.

The house had very damp downstairs bedrooms with lots of mold and slugs, making it quite unpleasant. I never met the landlord, who was unconcerned about our comfort and the gross condition left by past tenants. The best thing about the place was the showers, but the slugs were definitely the worst part.
