The upstairs rooms are warmer, and while it's a bit annoying not having a dishwasher, overall, it's a good flat. The landlord has been generally pretty good, and the best things about the place are its location and room size. However, the lack of a dishwasher is definitely the worst aspect.

The house has good sized rooms, a spacious kitchen and bathroom, plenty of powerpoints, and lots of natural light, although it can be noisy from Cumberland St. The landlord is very approachable and quick to address any issues, which I appreciate, even if he is quite quirky. Overall, it's a spacious, warm, and homely place, but the top bathroom does have bad pressure and heat.
I lived in a tidy modern flat that had a little afternoon sun in the upstairs bedrooms, but it was still cold, with mould mainly in the bathrooms and around the windows. I haven't really talked to the landlord, but the best thing about the place is definitely its modern design.
