The flat was in pretty bad condition—really cold with gaps in the windows letting in cold air, and the washing machine didn't work, plus we had random power cuts. While the landlord was pretty good at responding to queries, they didn't mention the flat wasn't insulated until after we signed. The best thing about it was the convenience, but honestly, everything else was a downside. Not a happy chappy...

The house is very cold and gets no direct sunlight except for one room, which has caused my pillows to go mouldy twice due to condensation. While the tiny kitchen is a downside, the room sizes are big, the bathrooms are modern, and the location is great. The landlord is very helpful and quick to address issues, but we often only get a couple of days' notice before inspections or viewings. Overall, the best thing about this place is the room sizes and location, but it's freezing.
The house is mouldy, damp, and cold, which is definitely the worst aspect of living here. However, I couldn't ask for a better landlord—he's very relaxed and quick with any repairs. The best thing about this place is the location.
The flat has new carpet and is pretty close to uni, but it's mouldy, cold, very damp, and almost impossible to heat. It feels dark and draughty with almost no sunlight. The landlord means well but is in denial about how bad the flat is.
The house gets pretty cold most of the time since it gets very little sun, and the tiny kitchen is a downside, but the rooms are big, the lounge area is decent, and the shower is good with new carpet. There's some street noise on Thursday and Saturday nights, which is to be expected. The landlord is pretty chill and usually quick to fix things when needed. The best thing about the place is definitely the location, while the worst aspects are the coldness, a bit of dampness, and the small kitchen.
The house gets real cold and has a mouldy issue, which makes it uncomfortable to live in. While it's close to uni, the worst part is that it really smells and is just too cold. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.
The house is in a good location and comes with furniture, which is a plus. However, the landlord often comes up with a lot of excuses, and if you don't persist, things don't get done. On the bright side, the lounge heats up fast, but overall, it's a cold experience with a difficult landlord.
