Good points: - double glazed - good location (a little noisy) - 2 rooms were quite large - bathroom reasonably new - liveable - landlords were personable - three bedrooms got good sun Bad points: - falling apart! Walls covered in flaked paint spots and holes, hole in the laundry roof that let in slime - Running the shower too long made water drip through the floor into the living room - under the stairs had been boarded up but was revealed to be entirely and horrifyingly full of mould in ways that must surely have impacted our health - Tiny, cramped, disgusting, freezing kitchen - Landlords took half a year to fix a roof leak onto a bed (gave us a dehumidifer). once they started fixing things, they would turn up often and unannounced, and come into the house without telling us - two bedrooms got no sun - slug infestation in the walls that would sometimes spill out into the room of the unlucky downstairs flatmate
