The house has a nice view, and while half of the rooms are warm, the others are cold since they get no sun at all. The best part is definitely the deck, but the worst is the back room that leaks when it rains. The landlord is quite strange and gets picky about kitchen cleanliness, plus he parks his church van in the carparks. It's very close to OP, though.

The house has a great deck for summer and drying washing, but there's a lot of condensation in winter and mold in the bathrooms up high. The landlord is okay, though you have to be persistent to get things fixed. Overall, the best thing is the front deck in summer, while the worst is definitely the dampness in winter.
The house has an awesome view of Logan Park and the hockey turf, plus the convenience of off-street parking and a new fridge/freezer and oven. However, it can get really cold in the winter—I’ve had warmer sleeps in a tent. The landlord is often around, and I’ve found it helpful to show him problems directly to get them fixed, but I do have to nag him sometimes. On the bright side, having two bathrooms and toilets is definitely a plus.
The house has issues with dampness and poor window insulation in the living area, along with mold around the windows and in the bathroom. While the location is great, being close to Otago Polytechnic and having a nice deck area, the worst part is that it’s cold and damp, especially upstairs where there is no heating. Additionally, the landlord requires persistence if you want things done quickly.
I lived in a small, cosy flat that was really close to polytech and just a 10-minute walk to the university center. The landlord is very nice and willing to help, but he tends to take a while to get things done as he aims for the cheapest solutions. The flat is fairly warm compared to others and doesn't get draughts, but the downstairs is colder than upstairs, and the backyard gets little sun.
The flat has a big living area and two separate showers and toilets, which is great. If things aren't right, it's important to keep at the landlord; he means well and is often around for maintenance. He’s usually happy to pay for repairs if something goes wrong, but I did notice the side of the deck is falling apart.
I found the flat to be a great party space—it's nice and big with off-street parking, and the property manager is good. However, the landlord is useless; he abuses his rights, takes parking spots assigned to our flat, and shows up unannounced, often blocking us in. The best aspects are the location and size, but the worst is definitely the landlord and the poor insulation, which makes it cold.
The flat is a good party space, quite big, and has an awesome view off the balcony. However, the landlord is absolutely useless—he takes our parking spots, comes in without notice, and yells at us. While the property manager is great, the house is very cold, and many things are broken, including the back door handle that he has "fixed" twice but still doesn't work.
The flat is great for parties, spacious, and has an awesome balcony view, but the landlord is absolutely useless. He often takes our parking spaces, barges in without notice, and gets angry when we ask him to move. While the property manager is good, the house is very cold, and many things are broken, including the back door handle, which he has "fixed" twice but still doesn't work.
The house is cold and quite far from campus, which can be a hassle. However, the best thing about it is that it's near the gym, making it convenient for workouts. Overall, my experience has been mixed.
