The house is a neat old character place, but it doesn't get much sunlight and can be freezing cold and damp, with warmth only in the two front rooms. The steep stairs are excellent for leg workouts, but not ideal for walking in heels. While the landlord was great, our main interactions were with the property manager, who could be dismissive and accusatory about issues that were clearly accidents, like a window blowing in during a storm. Additionally, the area has a troubling history of burglaries, and we had no idea whose property the garden was, though it has potential.
