The flat has a warm lounge and gets good sun in 4 out of 6 bedrooms, making it more comfortable than other places I've lived. The living area is nice, and the three toilets are really useful, but the kitchen is small and the hot water cylinder can't keep up, leading to cold showers after about 10 minutes. Parking is easy, and the property manager is good and easy to deal with. Overall, I find it to be a good place, though the soundproofing isn't great, so you can hear noise from upstairs.

The house is very warm for a student flat; just turn on the heat pump during power hour, and you're set for the night. While it's a bit far from uni and the rooms down the hallway can be dark, those are my only real complaints. The landlord is a good man who replies quickly—I'd probably make him the best man at my wedding because he's more reliable than any of my friends. The worst part is the loud upstairs neighbors, but overall, I enjoy living here.
Overall, I found this flat to be pretty good for the price, with a quiet location and an amazing shower. The landlord was super responsive and usually sorted out problems the same day we reported them. However, the hot water tank seemed too small for a five-bedroom place, as we often ran out of hot water, and while the high ceilings were nice, the upstairs was quite noisy since we were in the downstairs flat.
The house is a holy trifecta of dark, cold, and damp, with a small, windowless kitchen and two rooms that are okay in size but lack sunlight, while the other two rooms get no sun at all. I've found that anything placed against the south-facing wall behind the kitchen gets mouldy, and the rooms are hard to heat and retain heat poorly. On the plus side, the landlord is a good guy who stays in touch, and the placement is relatively close to uni and the supermarket, although the valley makes it very cold. At least the dairy on the corner offers double scoop ice cream for the price of a single, so it’s not all bad.
I lived in a very warm flat that was fully double glazed and had wall and ceiling insulation, with amazing shower pressure and no mould on the ceilings or walls. The living room and kitchen were a good size, although there was no pantry, and I could get to St. Davs in just 10 minutes if I was quick. While I could hear the upstairs tenants, it wasn't an issue since they were chill. The landlord was very quick to reply and helpful, getting things sorted ASAP. The best thing about the flat was its warmth, but the lack of soundproofing was the worst aspect.
The house has some great features like big rooms, two bathrooms, and well-maintained public areas, which I really appreciate. However, the walls are a bit thin, so I can hear conversations from the neighboring rooms, and the lounge feels too small for a flat with five people. While the landlord is a decent guy, he can be slow to address issues. Additionally, one of the rooms doesn’t get much sun, and another is above a lounge, making it hard to avoid party noise.
The house is cold as balls and doesn't hold heat well, with not much sun reaching it either. The kitchen is tiny and windowless, making cooking feel like more of a chore, though the pantry is a decent size. While the landlord is a good guy who responds quickly to concerns, the worst part of living here is definitely the cold, despite the ideal location in a nice community close to the supermarket and uni.
The house gets zero sunlight except by the door in the lounge, making it very cold and damp; my entire bed base went mouldy even with a dehumidifier running in my room. The shower pressure is average, and I can occasionally hear noise from upstairs. The landlord is a pretty good guy and quite relaxed, though I have to remind him to do things. On the plus side, it's cheap, but the mould is definitely the worst part.
The house was generally cold, with the temperature inside feeling like an Antarctic winter, especially when it was warm outside. The kitchen was small and lacked a window, and the entire place was on a severe slope, making you feel a bit tipsy when sober. We could hear the upstairs neighbors clearly, which was fine since their conversations were terrible, but the noise from the family home next door at 6 am was less than ideal. On the bright side, our landlord was chill and had a cute dog that visited, and we made many good memories despite the cold and lack of storage. The best part was definitely the memes and banter.
The flat has good sized rooms and a great lounge/kitchen, plus plenty of private parking. Managed by Edinburgh Realty, the property managers were quite good to deal with and sorted problems quickly, which I appreciated. The best thing about the place is the layout and size, but the worst part is the distance to uni and the noise from people walking around upstairs.
The flat is reasonably warm, especially the front room which gets a lot of sun, but the bedrooms can be quite cold. I can hear the upstairs neighbors when they run or jump, though it's not too bothersome. The shower pressure is fantastic, but be aware that the hot water runs out if everyone showers in the morning since it heats during the day. The landlord is great and comes by to do maintenance, but the property manager can be gruff and was uncommunicative about a rent increase, which was frustrating. The best parts are the warm front room, great shower pressure, and nice garden, but there is an issue with condensation and mould on the windows in winter.
I really enjoy living in this flat; it's warm, cosy, and gets lots of afternoon sun. Edinburgh Realty has been brilliant, responding quickly to any issues. The only downside is that the shower isn't ideal for tall people.
The flat has high ceilings, which can make it quite cold, and the creaky doors can get annoying after a year. However, I really appreciate having the lounge, heat pump, and kitchen all in one room, and the landlord is informative and responds promptly to any issues. The best part of living here is definitely the communal lounge/kitchen, but the thin walls are a downside.
