I really enjoy living in this flat; it's very warm and gets plenty of sun throughout the day, making it easy to heat and keeping the warmth inside for a long time. The landlord is great to deal with and always gives advance notice for visits. However, the worst part is the neighbors, as the lack of soundproofing means you can hear everything. The downstairs laundry and bathroom can get a bit cold, but closing the doors helps, and overall, this flat is much warmer than others.

I find it very easy to warm up the flat with the heat pump, and I really appreciate the newly painted white and light grey walls along with the new bathrooms and showers, which make the place look much more modern. The landlord generally sorts out issues quickly, although it's been about a week since they were supposed to fix our washing machine and dryer, but that should be resolved soon. The downside is that being in a complex of flats means we occasionally deal with noisy neighbors partying on certain nights.
The location of the flat is the best thing about it, but it does have its downsides, like the noisy seagulls and not having a dishwasher, which is frustrating. The landlord is a good man with a kind heart, but the neighbours can be a bit of a nuisance.
I found the flat to be in a good, convenient location and a great value for money. It's managed by a reputable property management company in Dunedin, which is a plus. The best thing about the place is definitely the location, but the worst aspect is the lack of privacy.
