The house has a persistent mouldy smell, especially after rain, as water gets in under the front door and soaks the carpet, causing damp patches through the hallway, dining, and lounge. This issue has been reported but not resolved. There are cold draughts from the downstairs toilet and garage entry, making the house colder. Curtains are old and torn in places, and the kitchen and bathroom are outdated. The back patio gets covered in slippery moss and needs frequent cleaning. Some paving has lifted due to tree roots, creating a trip hazard.
