The house is great because it's so close to campus and takeaways, but it does pick up quite a bit of noise on weekends and during O-week, and the dampness can be an issue. I've heard that the landlord can take a while to respond, but as long as you don't mess around with the house, you'll get along just fine. Just be aware of wasps in the morning if the windows are open!

The house had little insulation, making it cold in winter and damp in some rooms, with mould in the lounge. It was also left untidy by previous tenants, filled with junk, and the garden was a mess. The landlord was unhelpful, refusing to remove unwanted furniture and being dodgy about returning our bond, claiming we hadn't returned keys and that locks needed replacing, despite us leaving the flat in better condition. The only positive was the good location.
The loft room upstairs is dope! The landlord is a really nice lady who cares a lot about her property, though she can be a bit random. The best part about the flat is its central location and overall nice vibe, but it does get cold and the shower pressure isn't great.
The flat has a huge lounge and kitchen, along with large bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which is nice and light with excellent shower pressure. However, it can be damp and cold, which becomes very noticeable after spending 30 minutes inside. The landlord lived out of town but was keen to fix any problems we had. Overall, the best thing about the flat is definitely the shower pressure, while the coldness is the worst aspect.
The house is quite cold and damp, but it has tons of space, making it great for chilling out and hosting parties. The landlord is a nice guy who is reasonable and fixes things when they need attention. The best thing about the flat is definitely the location, while the worst aspect is the cold.
The house has a small loft room, while the three upstairs rooms are generously sized and reasonably warm for an older building, though the three downstairs rooms suffer from dampness in winter. The kitchen space is great, and the landlords are efficient and polite, always ready to help when you move in. However, the damp ground floor rooms are definitely the downside.
I found the flat to be affordable, close to the university, and quiet, which I appreciated. The landlord is quiet but not very proactive. The best thing about the place is that it’s warm and quiet, though the worst aspect is the lack of outdoor space and the occasional shower leak through the ceiling.
