I lived in a place called the ski lodge for a reason—it's SO COLD, brrrr. While the large number of rooms was a definite plus, dealing with a rude landlord made the experience less enjoyable.

The house has no soundproofing and gets no sun, which are definitely its worst features. The bathrooms are the best part, but the landlord often tries to blame tenants when things aren't working. Overall, the lack of soundproofing and sunlight really detracts from the experience.
I lived in an awesome 14-person flat with heaps of character and a great location, but it gets very cold, especially on the ground floor, and there's no sun. The brand new bathrooms are a plus, but getting up and down the hill in the ice and snow is almost impossible. The landlord is very shady and bizarre, popping round randomly and not showing up when we actually need him.
The house has a significant lack of sun, which is definitely a downside. On the bright side, the bathrooms are the best feature of the flat. Just make sure to remind the landlord to lodge your bond.
Living in the flat is fun because there are so many people around, but it doesn't get much sun at all—virtually none. The landlord tends to show up randomly, which can be a bit unsettling. While the number of people is definitely the best part, the noise traveling through the house can be quite bothersome.
Living in the flat felt like a dungeon where I could hear everything, and the lack of soundproofing made it even worse. The landlord was rude and unwilling to deal with any issues that arose, which added to my frustration. Overall, my experience was quite disappointing.
