The house used to have a good landlord, but since Edinburgh Realty took over, I've faced constant issues. The rooms are warm, which is a plus, but the cleaner is terrible, and the shared kitchen is always a mess. The stove is so burnt that cooking sets off the smoke alarm, and the walls are thin, making it easy to hear conversations from other rooms. The letting agent brought people around three times a week without asking, and when we requested to limit viewings, they threatened to blacklist us. If you're looking for a warm room close to uni and don't care about anything else, it's pretty good.

The lounge is very warm and gets some sun during the year, plus the shower pressure is great. However, the place is quite noisy with creaky floorboards in almost every room and loud water pipes. When I moved in, it wasn't particularly clean, but the landlord is a good guy who responds quickly and efficiently to help.
The house has nice modern rooms with large sizes and ensuite bathrooms, and it's fully furnished, which is great. However, the internet is painfully slow, and the hot water is practically non-existent for most of the year, only available late at night. The landlord doesn't address issues effectively and doesn't listen to concerns, making it frustrating to live here. Overall, for the price, there are definitely better options available where problems are actually resolved.
