This is a boarding house (15+ rooms). THE GOOD - cheap as, got a room for $200/week including utilities - location location location! right near a new world, 5 mins from the train station - lockable rooms - furnished rooms - fast internet - two bathrooms, actually not too bad - no issues with the landlord, nice enough THE BAD - kitchen had a persistent smell of what resembled old, musty curry - supplied mattress was noticeably caved in - once got a minor shock from turning off a light switch in the laundry toilet - dodgy wiring? - fridge always smelt funky because others would consistently just store opened tins of tomato in there OTHER THINGS TO NOTE - washing machine and dryers take two-dollar coins only! - not much space to store bikes, your best bet is chaining it to a gutter downpipe VERDICT: it’s okayish. Not luxury by any means. The #1 perk is the central city location!
