I enjoyed living in a quiet and safe compound with a constant flow of avocado, fig, and passion fruit in season, although the outdoor areas are all shared and the hot water is limited, so long showers aren't feasible. The landlords were really polite and the best I've ever had, being very considerate and personal. While I appreciated the safety and privacy, the soundproofing and small interior were drawbacks. Mozzies were also a problem, and the compound isn't completely fenced.
