The house has its issues, like an angled floor, small bedrooms, and a heat pump that doesn't work properly. General maintenance is lacking, with holes in the walls and an average shower. On the bright side, the kitchen wall is a whiteboard, which is dope for writing funny stuff. The landlord is accommodating with maintenance requests, but it takes a while to get a response. Overall, it's cold and damp.

I found the flat to be cute and in a great location, with good room size. However, it can get quite cold since the heat pump doesn't work well, and there's no insulation or double glazing. The landlord is busy and can be a bit short when addressing repairs, but she does respond quickly. Parking is also a downside.
The entire house is on a lean and located right on the main street, which means there's a lot of traffic noise, but you get used to it over time. I loved the awesome shower pressure and the quick walk to Uni, but I was disappointed when our lounge was taken away halfway through the year, leaving us with a combined kitchen/dining/lounge/wash house area. The male landlord is fantastic and a pleasure to deal with, although his wife is not as pleasant. Just be sure to keep the door locked, as lots of randoms walk into the flat.
