Chambers Street is really close to town and all the action, yet it's in a nice quiet family area. The landlord responds quickly via email, which is great. The best thing about the place is the sunshine, but the worst is that there are no locks on internal doors.

The house is insulated and features a heat pump and wood burner, which makes it really warm. The landlord is a nice guy who always takes care of our requests, though he can be hard to reach sometimes. Unfortunately, the flatmates have been the worst part of the experience for me.
I lived in a great flat with a very warm atmosphere and a fantastic layout. The property manager was also great—very warm and attentive. Honestly, everything about my experience was positive, and there was nothing I could complain about.
The whole flat is utterly fantastic with a heat pump, wood burner, and a great shower with fantastic pressure. The kitchen and bathroom are fully insulated and double glazed, and while one room is a tad small, the others vary from decent to enormous. It's in a really quiet area with great walking access to campus or the bus, and it gets sun for most of the day all year round. I didn't have much interaction with the landlord, but when I did, they were quick to respond and good to work with. The best thing about the flat is definitely the wood burner, though the worst part is having to share it.
The best thing about the flat was definitely the fireplace, which I enjoyed. However, the experience was marred by the absentee landlord living in Australia, who only seemed concerned about money, and a property manager who was completely unfit for the job. It was very hard to get in touch with him, and he refused to communicate via email, preferring old-school post instead. He also showed up unannounced despite my requests not to, and when someone tried to break in through an unsecured window at night, the property manager did nothing to help.
