The flat has no central heating, and while the space heaters help, it still gets cold, especially since we need to keep the windows open to prevent mould. I dislike the all-glass front door, as it allows people to see into the flat at night. Although it's a bit pricier than off-campus options, the services and location are great for meeting other international students. The landlord is responsive to urgent issues, but repairs can take about a week. On the plus side, the wood paneling gives the flat a cozy ski chalet vibe, and my bedroom has big windows that let in plenty of light. However, the kitchen is really small for six people, with just one fridge and limited cupboard space.
