Landlord
The house is very cold in winter despite being insulated, and while it’s nice and cool in summer, there are drafts everywhere. Parking is only allowed on the back lawn, which gets muddy and slippery when it rains. The landlord is hard to understand on the phone and spends a lot of time overseas, making him difficult to contact; he often doesn’t respond quickly or at all. He would send someone from his business to address issues, but they showed up at random times, leaving us waiting all day, and it took months to get smoke alarms installed, so we ended up buying them ourselves. The best thing about the place was the shower, but the worst was definitely freezing in winter.
