The lounge is small, but with all six of us in it, the space warms up quickly without needing a heating source. The landlord is responsive; he has come to address issues in less than an hour and had them fixed by the next day. The best part of living here is the warmth in winter, but the downside is that the bedrooms can hear everything from downstairs and between the upstairs rooms.

The warmth of the house is definitely a highlight, but the walls between the bedrooms are paper thin, which is a downside. The landlord is a good guy, but the main issue we have is with the maintenance man, who can be a pain.
This place is known as the hive, and if you're a female, you might want to steer clear. The landlord is a bit of a pain, but you can work around him. The best part about the flat is definitely the shower, while the worst thing is the sussock.
I really like this flat; it has a mean outdoor area, two bathrooms, and a nice kitchen, making it one of the nicer ones on Castle. The rooms come with huge desks and wardrobes, which is a bonus. The landlord knows her stuff since she manages many flats in the area. The best things are the location, amenities, and living space, but the downside is that the downstairs living area doesn’t get much sun, so it can get cold.
I love this flat to bits! It's in a great location, close to uni, with big, light bedrooms and a fantastic kitchen. The lovely property manager is also in charge of several third-year flats if I want to stick with her next year. The only downside is that there's no garden.
The house is colder inside and out, but the deck is awesome in summer, though it gets slippery and slimy in winter. The landlord is responsive, addressing issues on the day they arise, but he often comes around unannounced. The best part of the flat is definitely the location and the deck, while the worst aspects are the poor shower pressure, lack of soundproofing, and cold temperatures.
The house is small but easy to heat, with good sun exposure in some spots, and it has a bloody beautiful deck. The oven, dryer, and washing machine are all average, but the area is great if you like to party. The landlord is pretty organized and understanding, though it's important to respect their wishes, which can sometimes come without notice. Overall, the best thing about the place is definitely the deck, while the worst is its size.
The house has good room sizes and a big kitchen, but it can be cold, and there's mold in the bathroom that is easily removed. The toilet has no light, which is a bit inconvenient. On the plus side, the landlord is very helpful and nice, and there's a great community feel with all the rooms being good, especially with the castle street froth. Overall, the cold can be a downside, but I enjoy living here.
The flat has a perfect location for when Castle Street is lively, and I love that we're the only ones who can access the roof, which is a cool feature. The landlord is pretty hands-off, so you'll hardly hear from him. However, I do feel like there's too much space for just three people.
The deck and double glazing in all the rooms and lounge were the best features of the house, but I found the thin walls and having only one toilet in the bathroom quite annoying. The landlord was really good at coming out when we needed them and fixed things up easily, but getting the bond back was a ridiculously long process. Overall, I enjoyed my time here despite a few drawbacks.
The house is warm and in a good location, which I really appreciate. The landlord is easy to deal with and nice. The best part is the warmth and the location within a group of flats in the block, but the outdoor area is quite small.
The house is cold, and the shower is bad, which are definitely the worst aspects along with the kitchen. However, the location is the best thing about it. On a positive note, the landlord is very nice and very helpful.
The house is in a good location, which I really appreciate. The landlord is attentive, making the rental experience smoother. However, the worst part is that there's no extractor in the shower.
The house has a lack of windows, which I found annoying. The landlord can be a bit of a douche, but he is quite helpful. Overall, there isn't much else to say about the best and worst things.
The house is really warm, a good size, and well maintained, but it can be noisy and expensive. The landlord is happy to get most problems solved quickly. The best thing about living here is definitely the warmth, while the worst aspect is the high rent.
The house has a great location and is warm, though the walls aren't very soundproof. The landlord is not a bad guy, and the best things about the place are its warmth and amazing showers. However, the rent is quite high.
I found this to be a great place, especially for international students. The landlord is fantastic, and the warmth of the house is definitely the best feature. Honestly, I can't think of anything negative to say about my experience here.
The flat is much warmer than most and is in generally good condition, though the walls are very thin. The landlord is usually quite responsive and quick to get things fixed. Overall, it's a generally nice place to live, but the thin walls can be a downside.
The house has a big kitchen and lounge, which is definitely the best feature. However, the bedrooms are small, making them a bit cramped. I've also found that the landlord often needs to be reminded about issues.
The house itself has no standout features, but the landlord is quite problematic as she comes without notice. The worst part of living here is the coldness, which makes it uncomfortable at times.
The house had great water pressure, which was definitely the best thing about it. However, I found the dampness to be a significant downside. Overall, my experience was mixed.
The house has great shower pressure, which is definitely a plus. However, the dampness is a significant downside since the trees block the sun. Additionally, the landlord doesn't give any notice for flat inspections, which is quite frustrating.
The house has great water pressure and instant hot water, which is definitely the best feature. However, the worst part has been the power bill, which can reach $350. Overall, it's a decent place to live.
Living on Castle St was a 'win-win' for us second years since it was super close to uni, and the double-glazed windows were a nice touch. The landlord initially came over unannounced, but once we asserted our rights, he started giving us notice. The best part of the flat was definitely the deck, although the proximity of the neighbors was a downside.
The house feels like a freezer, which is definitely a downside. On the bright side, the landlord has nice boots, and the best part of living here is the ample drinking space. However, noise control is a major issue.
The house has big rooms and a warm lounge, which I really appreciate. The landlord lives in England, which can be a bit challenging at times. Overall, the best thing about living here is me, but the worst part is Adams' mess.
The flat has a good location, which is definitely its best feature. The landlord can be helpful, but you really have to keep pestering him if you want something done. On the downside, the walls are quite thin, which can be a bit of a nuisance.
The house had a kind of garlicky smell that never seemed to go away, but overall it was very modern and clean. I didn't deal with the landlord directly, only with student housing services, and I have no complaints—it was sort of perfect. It was cold, but not as cold as many others.
The house is warm and modern, though quite small with thin walls, which makes it noisy since it's in the center of a social area close to the university. The landlord is okay; he answers calls but is pretty slack with emails. Overall, the warmth of the place is the best feature, while the thin walls are definitely the worst.
The house is warm and modern, but it's quite small with thin walls, making it a bit noisy since it's located in the center of the social area close to the university. The landlord is okay; he answers calls promptly, but his email responses are pretty slack. Overall, the warmth of the house is the best feature, while the thin walls are definitely the worst.
I lived at Castle Street, which was the best thing about the place. Unfortunately, the landlord was useless, and the stairs were a real hassle.
The flat is conveniently close to the university and other flats, but it's cold and expensive to rent. I felt like we were getting ripped off for what we were living in, and the landlord was definitely the worst part of the experience. On the bright side, the shower was the best thing about the place.
The house was fine, but the landlord was unresponsive at times, which was frustrating. The best thing about the flat was its location, while the worst thing was the lack of proper heating during winter. Overall, it had its ups and downs.
The house itself was fine, but dealing with the landlord was a challenge; she is hard to deal with. The best part of my experience was the root, but unfortunately, the worst aspect was definitely the landlord.
The house is in a good location, being a bit off the street, which helps with the noise. However, it’s cold, damp, and mouldy, making it uncomfortable, especially for a flat meant for five people. While the landlord, Gilians, is pretty nice, I found her not overly helpful when issues arose. Overall, the best thing about the flat is the location, but the freezing and mouldy conditions are definitely the worst.
The house had a great location and came with a dishwasher, dryer, and heat pump, which I appreciated. However, the landlord didn't invest any money into upkeep, leading to issues with mould and a generally grubby environment.
The house was cold and dirty when we moved in, with a few dirty areas around. We definitely got ripped off by our landlord, which was frustrating. On the plus side, having 2 bathrooms was a nice feature. Just be cautious about your bond.
The house is expensive and small, with a sliding door instead of a front door, making it dark and noisy, plus the fridge is terrible. The landlord is useless and slow, but he's not a bad guy. The best thing about the place is the location and warmth, while the worst aspect is definitely its smallness.
