The flat is close, clean, and warm, and I only needed to use the heater once all year. It's up to earthquake code, which makes it feel safe, though the swaying can be unsettling during quakes. The view is lovely, especially with fireworks on Guy Fawkes and the Great War memorial lit up for ANZAC Day. However, the noise levels are a downside; the flat isn't soundproof, and you'll hear everything from slamming doors to conversations in the hallways. Storage is limited, and the internal room lacks privacy and darkness. Overall, the landlord is good, and the location is the best feature, but the noise can be a real issue.
