The house is very cold in winter and doesn't keep heat well, making it quite damp most of the time. My bedroom off the lounge can get moldy quickly, but the fourth bedroom, although small, gets the most sun and is where we keep our turtle. The landlord is pretty chill about things, like allowing my flatmate to keep her turtle despite the tenancy agreement stating no pets, but this can be a double-edged sword. Overall, it's cheap, but the super damp conditions are definitely a downside.

The house has bad insulation around the windows, with one cracked window in the lounge that the property company refused to repair, letting heat escape. It gets very cold in winter, especially since there are no heaters in the bathroom, and the fourth bedroom is too small to be functional, better suited for storage. While the unit gets plenty of sunlight and warmth in summer, the kitchen is tiny and challenging for multiple cooks. The landlord did fix some issues promptly, but they were unresponsive about the broken blinds and window upon move-in, and left a mess after repairs, which was frustrating. The best feature is having two bathrooms and a claw bath, but the cold in winter is definitely the worst aspect.
The flat had some bora, which was a downside, but the best part was definitely the people. Unfortunately, the landlord was quite pushy and forced me to stay for a second year. Overall, while the flat itself wasn't great, the community made the experience worthwhile.
