I lived at 660A Castle Street, and overall, I would recommend it as a flat due to its good location, nice outdoor area, and the convenience of having two bathrooms. However, the oven was terrible, and we had a few fires, so we ended up using a conventional oven instead. The house also had a lot of condensation, and the lounge and some bedrooms didn’t get much sun because of the neighbors. On the plus side, the landlord was easygoing and responsive, quickly replacing our broken washing machine, but it was cheaper to handle our own rubbish than rely on her for bins.

The house has a great location, which is definitely the best thing about it. The landlord is pretty good to deal with, but the worst part is that it's quite draughty and cold.
The house is warmer than other flats I've been in, but there's absolutely no soundproofing at all, which means I struggled to get any sleep. The landlord is nice enough, though slightly strict for a Castle St flat.
The house is pretty sick and warm, but it's expensive for what you get. The landlord is pretty slack; she doesn't even live in Dunedin and is often out of the country, which means things never get sorted out quickly, and she treats us like a bother. The best part is definitely how warm it is, but the worst part is watching my money disappear on rent.
