The flat has paper-thin walls that don't reach the ceiling, allowing light and sound to flood in, which made living with flatmates tense, especially in the mornings and at night. The top floor was as cold as it was outside due to a lack of insulation, and internal rooms felt nearly illegal with no real privacy from hallway lights. While the flat itself was relatively clean, the public areas were pretty disgusting. Dealing with the landlord was a pain; their receptionist was unprofessional and often clueless, but we managed to get our full bond back by being proactive and documenting everything. On the bright side, the rent and location were the best aspects of the experience.
