Living in this house is fantastic during summer, but it gets very cold in winter, and the living area receives almost no sun. The size of the rooms is definitely the best feature, but the coldness is a major downside. As for the landlord, she will do nothing unless legally obligated, and even then, you have to quote legislation at her.
