Mount Cook, Wellington
The landlord is horrible: tradies refused to work with him to the point in which we had to call them to fix things and the told us directly if he called, then they wouldn't have come. This review is specifically for the downstairs flat, in which both decks the property has are rotting from the ground up... scary, when the house is on stilts. The best thing about this flat is the view: which is beautiful over the rest of the city. However, the view does NOT make up for the rotten decking which the main entrence is on, in which the landlord kept just putting basically a stuck down tarp over... and don't even get me started on the ants. Ants were living, breathing and breeding under that top deck and they would consistently infultrate the house. The landlord also had so much junk from previous tenants, which he made our issue to remove. Avoid this spot like the plague unless you're desperate. I only enjoyed my time there because of the flatmates, it was a horrible building.
