The flat is modern for a Dunedin place, but it's not double-glazed or insulated, making it really cold, and the furnishings feel like they came straight from the OP shop. I wouldn't recommend dealing with Farry Clear; they're rip-off artists who charge high rent but don't fix issues when they come up. The best part of the flat is definitely the shower pressure, but the worst has been dealing with the property managers.

The location of the flat is indisputable, and while I can hear the trains going by, I eventually tune it out. The purpose-built design is nice, although the living area is a little small and it can get quite cold. The landlord eventually gets the job done, but the best thing about this place is definitely the location.
The flat is quite cold and suffers from a lot of condensation, and the heat pump doesn't effectively warm it up. On the plus side, the location is good, and the landlord is responsive and gets things done quickly. Overall, the best aspect is definitely the location, while the coldness is the biggest downside.
I found the apartment to be very modern with large rooms and top-quality furnishings, but despite being double glazed, it is extremely cold! The heat pump is highly uneconomical, making it not worth running. The property manager is great, although I never met the landlord, and I do appreciate the great shower pressure.
The location of the flat is great, but the price feels too high for what you get. The trees outside block out most of the sun, making it cold and dark inside, and the noise from the train and road is quite disruptive since the rooms aren't soundproof. The kitchen is nice but not really suitable for five people, especially if we all cook separately. Also, be aware that the landlord is unresponsive on weekends, simply stating, "I do not work weekends."
The house is close to uni and insulated, but it can get noisy at times, especially from the neighbors, which I could hear in detail from my bedroom. While the shower is definitely the best feature, the place feels a bit expensive, and the lack of decent maintenance is becoming obvious. The landlord lives in Timaru and needs to be chased about issues, which adds to the frustration.
Living in this flat has its ups and downs. The trees out front block the sun, making it colder inside during summer, and they also cause issues with blocked gutters. While the showers have amazing pressure and the bathrooms are nice, the kitchen is a bit cramped for five people, and the washing machine is too small. Parking can be a hassle, as people often steal your spot, and our property manager was sometimes rude and slow to address issues. Overall, I enjoy living here despite these challenges.
The house is warm and newly renovated, although some rooms don’t get much sun and the back rooms can get mouldy in winter. The landlord is a really nice old guy who addresses any problems we have immediately. The best thing about the flat is its warmth, but the thin walls can be a downside.
I found the house to be warm and dry, which made for a comfortable living experience. The landlord was brilliant, always responsive and helpful. The best thing about the flat was definitely the location, and honestly, I can't think of anything I disliked—there was nothing wrong with it at all.
The house is pretty new and warm, which I really appreciate. The landlord is okay, but they can be a bit slow to respond, and the handyman they use is useless. The best thing about the place is definitely its warmth, but the worst part is that it doesn't block noise very well.
The flat is decent but not soundproof, with a small kitchen area and a small fridge. We deal with a tough property manager who doesn't seem to clean the place well; my room was dusty when I moved in, and I've learned that I need to push him to get things done. On the plus side, the flat is warm, but it's also out of the way.
The house has two fridge/freezers, which is definitely the best feature. However, the rent is $127 each a week, which feels a bit steep. Overall, it's a decent place to live.
The house has good water pressure, two showers, and decent-sized bedrooms, although half of the building only gets a little sun. The landlord doesn't seem to care much about the flat's condition. The best aspects are its proximity and reasonably modern feel, but it can be quite cold in winter with no effective communal heating source.
I really liked the house's location, which was a major plus. The best part for me was definitely the people I lived with, but the cold rooms were a downside.
The house itself is fine, but the best thing about living here is definitely the great landlord, who is very proactive and quick to solve issues. On the downside, the trains going past can be quite disruptive.
