I found the flat to have a great central location, good room sizes, and a decent price for a student. However, it’s an old office building with some internal bedrooms lacking windows, and the thin walls mean you can hear noisy neighbors and parties every night. While I’ve never had issues with mold, the property managers from Te Aro Tenancies are unresponsive to maintenance problems, and they don't seem to care about the mess and noise from other tenants. Overall, the location is the best part, but the management and rowdy neighbors are definitely the worst.
