Direct feedback from previous tenants

The house is cold with no heating, leaks in one room, and issues with possums and mice, although it's not the tenants' fault. There are also significant gaps around the windows and doors, especially in the bathroom and kitchen, leading to mold. While the landlord is a decent DIY fixer, the property managers are rude and unresponsive, showing little consideration for tenants. The best part is the sun and its proximity to the botanic gardens, but overall, everything else is a problem.

The house seemed warm and okay at first during summer, but it deteriorated over winter with around six leaks in the roof, mould, and occasional possum screeching at 3 am. While the kitchen and lounge get a lot of sun, the rest of the house is pretty cold, especially since there’s no heating. The landlord is generally okay and fixes things when needed, but the property manager can be rude during viewings and sometimes flirts with tenants. On the plus side, it's close to the Gardens and the supermarket, which is a bonus.
I really appreciated the quiet area where the house is located, making it a peaceful place to live. The landlord was very helpful and always got things sorted ASAP. However, the cold can be a bit uncomfortable at times.
The house has its drawbacks, like needing my own heating and being cold in winter, but it does have its own garden. The shower head is set for a short person, and it can get noisy from the upstairs walking, plus I’ve noticed possums climbing the tree. On the bright side, the property managers are quick to respond to any maintenance issues, and overall, it’s fairly quiet.
The house has decent-sized bedrooms and is really sunny, but we were surprised by the damp and mouldy conditions. The landlord is very responsive and willing to address any issues, which is a plus. Overall, the big room and sunlight are great, but the dampness is definitely a downside.
