I lived in a cool flat with character that had a lot of outdoor space, including a backyard with fruit trees and an accessible roof. However, it was a little cold in winter and needed some general maintenance, which was frustrating since the agency managing it took a long time to get things fixed when requested. Overall, while the flat had its charm, better insulation and upkeep would have made a big difference.
