I found the flat to be quite cold, both the house and my room, which was located in front of the porch/garden. The lead tenant, Hannes, was very strict about cleaning; we had to wash everything immediately after use, and I often ended up eating dinner in my room due to the lack of a living room. While the location was great and Hannes and his partner maintained the house well on weekends, I felt overwhelmed by Hannes's controlling nature. I didn't even know how to contact the landlord, as I only dealt with him.
