While this block of historic apartments on Mount Eden Road has great character, this particular apartment, landlord, and agent are very poor value and definitely not recommended. The white walls and wooden floors are deceptive, as the rooms are leaky, very mouldy, and dark, lacking direct natural light. Although the appliances are newish, they are of poor quality, and the recent renovations feel cheap, resembling a motel rather than a home. Above all, the price is a complete rip-off, exceeding $320 per room.
