The flat itself was once pretty nice, located in a great area close to the bus and shops, with big rooms and a veranda. However, it suffers from significant issues like leaky roofs in multiple areas, a sloping kitchen floor, and mold due to poor ventilation, making it the worst house on the street. While the landlords, who are the bowling club, are responsive and maintain the lawns, the property managers are horrifyingly slack, taking weeks to address even minor problems. Overall, I paid $170 a week for a huge room, but the rent for the entire place was about $700 a week for a technically 4-bedroom flat with 5 people living there, which feels unjustified given the condition of the house.
