The house was freezing cold, and the bedroom windows wouldn't shut properly. While it was close to town, dealing with the landlord was frustrating; I often felt ignored when I contacted the property manager, and it took five months to get something fixed. Additionally, the property owner frequently entered the house unannounced, and there was no drier or clothesline, which made the cold even worse.
