I found the flat to be tidy with the bonus of having two fridge/freezers, and despite the low power bill, the rooms are huge. The location is great, and I loved the big rooms with amazing wardrobes and furniture. However, it can get absolutely freezing, the kitchen is small in terms of bench space, and there's no dishwasher. The landlord is amazing, and the courtyard gets heaps of sun, making it perfect for tanning in the afternoons.

The location of the flat is great, but the landlord is the worst part of the experience. He refused to do a thorough inspection at the start of the year and then blamed us for issues that were already present when we moved in. He constantly shows up unannounced and comes inside, and the appliances, especially the oven, are terrible and clearly cheap.
The house has its issues, with creaky floors, a leaky roof, and a terrible draft, making it cold in the harsh winters and brutal in the summers. However, it's nice and close to uni, which is a big plus. The landlord is nice and friendly, but overall, the cold is definitely the worst part.
