Newtown, Wellington
I believe the landlord has been moved on/sold so I wouldn't take the landlord rating to heart. However, I would say that all of the buildings at the Constable Street unit get VERY HOT in the summer, they just trap heat. And there's nowhere for it to go since (in my case) the back windows did not open. In fact, the only windows that opened were the big sliding glass doors/balcony, which is fine in the winter since it's very warm, but gets so unbelievably hot and stuffy in the summer. When I was there (3+ years ago) there was also consistantly a sewage smell coming from the stairwell, and plant pots on upper balconies drip onto those below. Also lacking privacy, as you can basically see into all of your neighbours windows. Just be aware of these things if looking at any Constable Street apartments in that block.
