The view from the house is excellent, and the neighbors are great, but the issues with the property and the landlord are significant drawbacks. The rent is currently $350 per week for a one-bedroom place, but the landlord plans to raise it to $395 without addressing serious problems like rising damp and a leaning floor. Despite my requests for repairs, including fixing the dark kitchen and unusable fireplace, the landlord has been unresponsive and intimidating, making it difficult for tenants to voice concerns. Overall, while the location has its perks, the damp and the landlord's behavior make living here challenging.
