The flat has its pros and cons. While the low price is definitely a highlight, I've experienced issues like water leaking into the main corridor during heavy rain, which the landlord claims can't be fixed, and ongoing problems with the lounge lighting, where bulbs blow at an alarming rate. The landlord is responsive to urgent matters, but after three years, smaller issues remain unaddressed, leaving us concerned about potential charges against our bond for things like crumbling plaster. Overall, it's a decent flat with an effective heat pump, but the lighting and maintenance could use improvement.

The house had a big laundry, new oven, spacious rooms, a good living area, and a large backyard, which made it feel more like a home. However, it was cold and damp, and the property management was very poor; it took three months to get our bond back despite frequent inquiries. Additionally, the toilet was a roller door, so I could hear everything from the kitchen, and there was a big wasps nest in the backyard during summer. It was also quite far from uni.
