The flat has its issues, like having to kick the door open and the whole place being on a lean, which makes it feel unsafe, especially in the kitchen where there's mold everywhere. On the bright side, the landlord is pretty good and responds relatively quickly, and the location is great. Unfortunately, it’s also quite cold.

The flat has an insane amount of mold growing everywhere, and it's clear the landlord knows about it but hasn't addressed the issue appropriately. The whole place is on a lean, except for the back room, which has a lot of mold. While the landlord responded okay when things broke, he let others store their stuff in the flat without our permission and took some of our belongings at the end of the year, even though we were still paying rent. On the plus side, it's close to Uni, but I had to kick the front door open, and he deducted money from our bond for carpet cleaning that we hadn't damaged.
The house had some issues, like rubbish left by previous tenants and mold in places, but it was advertised as unfurnished and surprisingly came with couches, some drawers, and a bed. The landlord doesn't communicate much, but he was quick to fix any problems that arose. On the plus side, it's close to uni, which is a definite advantage.
The house has a good backyard, but it's right next to a motel, so I had to be careful about noise. Rooms 1, 2, 3, and 4 were pretty good, but Rooms 5, 6, and 7 were tiny; in fact, the landlord literally put up a wall of plaster in one room to make two. I got first pick of rooms, and while the landlord is quite switched on, I don't think he had ever dealt with seven guys before. Overall, I got the vast majority of my bond back.
