The house is very spacious with a good-sized living room and bedrooms, though two larger rooms can get cold while the smaller one is warmer. The heat pump does a great job warming the living room, and it gets good sun in summer but not in winter. It’s about a 25-minute walk to uni, but the return trip is tough due to a large hill. The shower pressure is very bad, and we have an odd situation with a Chinese lady who walks her dog on our property at 1 am, often apologizing with chicken and chips, which we tolerate because we feel uncomfortable confronting her. The landlord is prompt with urgent repairs but slow with non-urgent issues, like when our microwave broke. Overall, the best part is the size and view, while the worst is the distance to uni and the hill.
