I really enjoy living in this flat due to its great location next to the Farmers market on Saturdays and its secluded area, which means less noise and worry about our cars. The warmth from the heat pump and the beautiful east-facing windows that let in morning light are definitely the best features. However, some of the bedrooms are a bit small, and the creaky, uneven floors can be a nuisance. Our landlord, while not local, is responsive and usually helps us get things fixed quickly, though some repairs can take a while.

The house has no soundproofing, so I could hear everything from upstairs and downstairs, which was quite frustrating. While it gets lots of sun and has a big lounge and kitchen, the lack of insulation meant that we couldn't keep the warmth despite all that sunlight. On a positive note, the landlord was very helpful; I could contact them with any issues, and they would do what they could to assist.

This flat is deceivingly warmer than others of its size, with all the rooms being great sizes and fairly equal. The landlords are incredibly friendly and quick to fix any issues without placing blame or charging for broken appliances. The location is fantastic and perfect for entertaining, though the shower pressure in one of the bathrooms could be better. It’s also helpful to know or get along with the people in the flat below.
