This is a really good party flat with a great layout, which I really appreciate. The landlord is a little bit strange, but generally okay. The only downside is that there's no outdoor area.

I really like this flat; it’s great for a large group of students with a cool layout for living and parties, and it's very close to town. The landlord is a bit strange, preferring to communicate by slipping letters under our door, but he's generally okay if we need to ask him something. The best things about the place are the location and layout, but the worst part is the neighbors and the landlord not understanding student culture.
The landlord is openly homophobic and anti-transgender, even turning down a potential tenant for being transgender, and he frequently enters the apartment unannounced. The rooms aren't soundproof, so I can hear noise from both my flat and the other apartments. Additionally, the shower water flows horizontally instead of vertically, and there are constant issues with the internet speed, which sometimes stops completely for half a day. The only positives are the warmth of the house and its location.
The house is big and great for those who want to make the most of the Octagon, with heaps of rooms and a large bathroom featuring multiple toilets and showers. I appreciated the good communication from the landlord. The best part is its size and proximity to town, but the worst thing is that there’s no garden. Overall, it’s a fun place to live.
